METTKO was formed in 2019 by Karel Osten, a process engineer with over 30 years experience in the design, operation, commissioning, optimisation and testing of pressure hydrometallurgy projects starting with the detailed design and then commissioning and ramp up of the Lihir project.

 

The latest completed projects are the Copler Sulfide Expansion Project commissioned in 2018 and the subsequent Copler Flotation Plant commissioned in 2022.

 

Current projects include the Hemi Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia for Northern Star Resources. This is in the detailed engineering and procurement phase with the autoclaves and autoclave agitators already having been fabricated.

 

Additionally Mettko continues its long association with OceanaGold with supporting a mid life upgrade of the Macraes POX circuit in New Zealand.
